IEMP Online Research

The International Elite Mentorship Program (IEMP) was launched in late 2018 as a lighter alternative to the CIS Online program. The IEMP program is a five-week online research program that offers a holistic view of an academic subject and builds a foundation for academic research. Like the CIS program, the IEMP program is hosted multiple times throughout the year with a wide range of research topics.

DETAILS ABOUT IEMP ONLINE

We host the IEMP online research programs throughout the year. With Neoscholar's in-house developed online learning hub, NeoSchool, our professors can mentor our students and help students develop their research skills wherever they are.

An IEMP online research session hosts twenty students, who are divided into multiple research groups. The program provides a 38-hour fundamental research course, including 14 hours of live lectures by a university professor, accompanied by academic instruction and research guidance sessions, for seven weeks.
Through the direct mentorship of our professors, students are expected to acquire a complete overview of an academic subject and establish a foundation of academic research skills.

THE NEXT-GENERATION EDUCATION IS ONLINE

We have a simple but ambitious goal: to bring research-based learning to more students in more regions. To achieve that, we are focusing on the online education delivery model. Our online research programs are conducted via Zoom. To better coordinate the joint research writing efforts between students and professors, we have also adopted Overleaf for writing and editing collaborations.

Another key aspect of our online delivery model is the NeoSchool digital learning system. Similar to Blackboard for College students, NeoSchool has a set of features that enhance the online learning experience.

Covers the entire research-based learning process and offers automated online training on the fundamentals.

Builds a learning ecosystem by enabling easy online interactions and discussions among students, professors, and TA's.
